Radar level sensor emits a very narrow microwave pulse, the pulse to the speed of light in the space, encountered the surface of the measured medium, part of its energy is reflected back, the same antenna to receive. The time interval between the transmitting pulse and the receiving pulse is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium to calculate the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium.
Working principle
Because of the high propagation speed of electromagnetic wave, the time interval between transmitting pulse and receiving pulse is small (nanosecond magnitude).The time interval between the transmitting pulse and the receiving pulse can be accurately identified by using a special correlation solution technology in the 26G series radar object level meter, so as to further calculate the distance between the antenna and the surface of the medium under test.

The radar object level meter USES a transmission frequency up to 26GHZ, and thus has:
